Setting up a Manhattan CCD Barcode Scanner:
Connect the Manhattan CCD barcode scanner to the USB port of your computer or laptop and scan the following five barcode labels in succession – this has to be done only once off, during the setup process.
Using the Manhattan CCD barcode scanner within ComicBase
Jumping directly to any comic in the ComicBase
Bring up the jump dialog by pressing Ctrl+J and scan your comic’s barcode label - this should take you directly to the right comic book.
How to add multiple comics at once
Adding more than one comic to your inventory is done by using the Ctrl+I hotkey combination from the Edit menu. This feature is available only for ComicBase 11 Archive and Professional.
Press Ctrl+I and then scan the barcode labels of all comics that you want to add to your inventory. Click on each item in the list if you want to change some of the details like quantity, condition or the price, and when you are done with all items, press the Save button.
Sell comics. This feature is available only for ComicBase 11 Archive and Professional.
In order to sell a comic, use the Sell comics command (press F9) from the batch menu. Then scan the comic’s barcode label and press the Sell button, found in the right corner.
